Can you microwave wooden bento boxes?

Wooden bento boxes are made from natural timber and glues so they can not be put into a microwave oven. Placing the wooden bento box into a microwave oven will damage the product and will no longer be suitable for use.

How do I clean wooden bento boxes

Wooden and bamboo bento boxes are made from wood which can expand and contract if excessive moisture is applied. To clean simply use a soft damp cloth to remove any remaining food. Then add to the cloth a mild detergent to remove any oil or remaining food. Towel dry after cleaning, don't allow pools of water accumulate in the bento box. Do not submerse in water.

Wooden bento boxes cannot be used in an oven. Placing it in an oven will damage the product and will no longer be suitable for use.

Can you use a dish washer for wooden bento boxes?

Dish washers should not be used to clean your wooden bento box. The product is made from a sustainably sourced wood which will swell when soaked into water. This will make the product fall apart. The glues used will also deteriorate which will make the bento box fall apart.
